DESCRIPTION: The run is a trail half marathon throughout the Rattlesnake Slope Preserve. It showcases the beauty and openness of the Sagebrush Steppe of Southeastern Washington and will be roughly 1800 feet gain over the 13.1 miles. This is a challenging course so we recommend to bring your own water and fuel. However there will be aid stations at miles 2, 3, 6.5, 9 and 10 with limited fuel, because it has to all be hiked in.
